| In April of 1999, Troop 202
participated in the Rising Star District Camporee at Camp Brosig. Always a big event for
the Troop, this was a record with 48 Scouts and 28 adults
attending. It took 17 vehicles and 3 trailers to get us
there so this was no Leave No Trace, low impact event ! Camporee is one of the few "competitive" events in our annual
calendar and we are very proud that Troop 202 has a reputation of doing very well at this
event as individual Scouts, as Patrols and as a Troop. We enjoy the competition and like
to see other Troops challenge us with the same enthusiasm and Scout Spirit we enjoy in
