Pedro Campout
Bear Creek Park

| As in previous
years, in January Troop 202 went to Bear Creek Park
in Houston, TX for
the Pedro Campout. This campout is specially designed for the
new Scouts who have joined the Troop to introduce them to how campouts
are organized, use of the troops equipment, how patrols use the Patrol
Method for organization and instruction for the Boy Scout and Tenderfoot
Ranks. The parents of these new Scouts are also invited to
participate to gain a better understanding of how the Troop is
organized, how campouts are run and the important role and
contribution they can make.
